Some perspective to help you imagine:
India's Forex Reserve as on 19 June 2009 is around $263b
Algeria's GDP is around $135b
Roughly 130 countries have a GDP of less than what was in this suitcase

Kim Kardashian is a "Reality Television Star"...
What on earth does that mean?
Or does it mean what I think it means?

This is not only a misnomer, but also an Oxymoron
And a thousand years ago (and maybe a thousand years hence), all this land was (and will eventually be) free (again)

Rightly said, what's affordable housing when you have to buy small, buy far and pay marginally less
Cheap housing - you can buy it without thinking twice (never existed)
Affordable housing - You can buy it but you won't be happy with it
Luxury flats - You will die paying this back or you have enough money to buy Somalia
Villas - Houses are not good unless you can call them villas. Villas mean neat, clean, large, airy houses (But then that is what houses meant a few years back)
Luxury Villas - This has two catch words, first you will have everything in the house like you want, then you will have some more (like a golden toilet seat?)
Luxury Villa Gated Community - This is going to set you back by more money than any of the above, but you can rest assured that your house is big, neat, clean and that your neighbors are humans, not the lower strata of the society (which incidentally made you rich enough to afford this house in the first place)
And where does this leave people like me? In rented accommodations paying the owner who pays the EMI for middle class houses, which is what I will buy someday, or buy these so called 'Affordable Homes' because the only thing that is of importance is the affordability.
Yippiee...! 100,000 small cars will hit the streets pretty soon now..
